Dear Friends,
The corresspondent of Snehapriya English Medium School, Puttaparthi,invited me to conduct a class for the teachers there, on 25th .The topic was "why a training on conversational English is required for the South Indian school teachers".
The corresspondent , Mr. Shreenath, is an amicable person with very polite manners. He introduced me to the Head Master of the school.The Head Master is a Keralite, but has already created a very good rapport with the local people.He speaks good English and is a good administrator as well.
There were in toto, twelve teachers present in the class.All of them appreciated our method and played Games with me too.They,as they expressed,"had a whale of a time".
And that is what my intention was. My intention was to let them know that there is another enjoyable way of teaching English. And that way is "our way", the easiest way.
I'm expecting a call from them very soon.
The school has its own reputation. It has been established "in memorium"of Mr. Janakiramaiah,Swamy's own brother.He was a great humanitarian.
I hope, our best efforts will definitely help the school improve its fame to a much greater height.

The Methods

This is the age of communication. The skill of communication is rarely an inherited gift.It is mastered through rigorous practice.Similar to learning music. Have you noticed why a child picks up any language superfast, while the adult struggles to learn it ? It is precisely because of the attitude of playing with the language. So, we need not be terrified of commiting errors. Language is a toy. One must know how to play with it. Learning English at Englishcafe is based on Game Theory.
The pedagogy applied in Englishcafe has been very carefully tailored and successfully experimented by Prof. Madan Mohan Misra, the well known educationist of Orissa. He has devoted more than twenty years of his bright career working as the Principal of Various Teachers' Training Colleges of Orissa.
Fortunately, thousands of students have already developed the communication ability by following the methods religiously, devised by us. It definitely needs hard work and practice of some months based on an understanding of the relevant techniques.

SPS Nature School.
Dear English Lovers,
Yesterday, I was introduced to the sweet children of SPS.
I spoke to all of them in different schedules. They showed great enthusiasm and expressed their love for the language by joining the word games devised by me.
Later, I was introduced to the teachers aswell.
They decided to start the classes,for the teachers , from 25th of the continuing month.
The timings have been fixed to be at 4:30 to 5:30 P.M.
That was an enchanting experience which I shall describe in one of my next posts, in detail.

Our Patrons
Dear All,
This is to inform you that within a shorter period of 15 days only we have already started getting response from the local organisations to start the sittings with them.
Out of them, the first one is, Sai Towers Hotels limited, Puttaparthy. The Managing Director of the Hotel is Mr. R. Padmanaban,the famous writer of the book "Love is My Form.Actually, I started taking the classes there in their premises, before some days. Now it is stopped due to the rush of the tourists. Anyday, it will be commenced again.
Next one is the S.P.S. Nature School.The honourable Principal of the esteemed organisations has got big dreams for the staff and the students aswell. He has agreed to our proposal. We are going to start the sittings there very shortly. The date hasbeen fixed to 21st of the continuig month.
I wish a strong footing in the area soon and again, all depends on the devine design.

I don't know whether PUTTAPARTHI is the right kind of place to start a club like englishcafe. Everybody says it will not work out. I do agree with them. I know it will not work out here commercially.But, that is not our goal.
Our purpose is to find a group those who love the language. We want to live in the same wave-length.Generally students of English literature are taken as crazy for their different attitude and vision towards life. Well, we love to live in our own size.

New Comers
Hallo Friends!
This is sanjitmisra for you.
Before going deep, Ithink, it 'll be considered polite to talk to you a bit more about me.
I'm , by profession, a Motivator-a Consultant and Public Relation Officer of Englishcafe.
Initially it was started by my father Mr. M.M.Misra, who worked as Principal in Teachers Training Colleges of Orissa.
After completing my Graduation with English Honours from Utkal University, Orissa in 1987 I was in PR jobs in many different companies. To add to it I completed a PGDTTM in English as Second Language, from Cambridge University, New Delhi. Then in 2004 I launched my Spoken English OffLINE courses in different colleges and Universities of India. Very recently, I started it at Puttaparthy,Andhrapradesh, where I have planned to settle for thre rest of my life.
I've contributed, in my own small way, for the development of the English Language in the Continenent.
My effort will be to continue it till I'm active.
